Doctor
A medical confidant is there for the children and youths around the clock. If your child has a headache, stomachache or a high temperature etc. then he or she can always turn to her. The necessary medicine is given at or after meals. The doctor responsible for Burg Nordeck has his practice in Allendorf/Lumda.
The pupils are taken to Gießen or Lollar for X-rays after injuries. If necessary, they can be taken to a specialist in the neighbouring towns of Gießen and Marburg.
The boarding school does not carry out school vaccinations by popular request of the parents. We ask the parents to get their own doctor to vaccinate the children.
Health is not the be all and end all, but without health everything is worthless!
