Family
Boys and girls grow up together. Between eight and ten young people of different ages live with a teacher almost like a family in individual residential units. They can decorate their single or double rooms to suit themselves. In these small groups there is a very personal atmosphere, which contributes to the natural development of the individual In addition, the family concept makes it possible for our committed educationalists to pay special attention to the educational interests and stages of development of the boys and girls. A relationship similar to that of a brother and sister or a distinct communal spirit also develops between them.
A family evening takes place once a week. The members of the family organize the activities on these evenings themselves with the help of their family father or mother, for example they might go on an outing, go bowling, play mini golf or games, cook in the school’s kitchen, ........
The feeling of belonging to a group of people of the same age and having teachers who listen to you at anytime help the pupils to quickly overcome the separation from home.
