Sport
 Nowadays many young people don't have the chance to let off steam after school, because their friends live too far away or they allow themselves to be distracted by the various electronic media, yet sport and movement are not only the best compensation for mental strain, they also promote healthy growth and team spirit among the young people.
At Burg Nordeck someone is always available to go along to the tennis court, swimming-pool, sauna, jogging in the forest or maybe to the all-weather sportsground, floodlit in the evening.
Many clubs (for example tennis, jogging, darts and mountain biking....) are offered in the sporting segment. Hikes and open cross-country races round off our selection of sports. It doesn't matter whether it's a team game or individual practice - sport and games belong to everyday life at Burg Nordeck.
Once a year all the pupils go for a fortnight's skiing holiday in the Alps.
