free time
Today many young people are often left to their own devices or are susceptible to group pressures in the afternoons. That is not the case at Burg Nordeck. Here the young people are also personally looked after and supported after school. .
New friends, the beautiful surroundings and the wealth of possible ways of spending their freetime prompt the young people to do activities, which they may not do at home - for example visiting a concert or the theatre.....
The afternoons are chronologically structured and the pupils have a little bit of free time at their disposal. Pupils can freely choose from the large selection of clubs, which should serve as the prime occupation in the afternoon.
Sport and games have a great effect on balance, health and socialisation. There is a large selection to choose from, whether it be tennis or horse-riding, swimming or ball games.
It is definitely something special to stand, at least once, on a proper stage with its own historical background. The Theatre Club is only one of our various activities on offer, which allow the children to discover skills and talents they never knew they had.
Piano, violin, cello, guitar or flute lessons can be taken privately for payment.
